Childrens Work
The Children's Work at St. Mary's takes many forms. On a Sunday Morning there are 4 main groups for children to enjoy, depending on their age. All childrens work is conducted under the guidance of Senior members of Staff, and all Childrens workers are CRB checked, and have undergone child protection training.
Age 0 - 4: The Creche offers care for children aged 0 to 4. Under the supervision of highly competant carers, the children will enjoy a host of games, toys and other activities.
School Years 1 - 3: Flames is the childrens group for these kids who want to learn more about God in a fun and exciting way! Craft, games, activities and singing all play a regular part of a Sunday morning for a Flames member!
School Years 4 - 6: Rockets is aims to teach children about God in a way that is relevant and exciting for them. Rest assured that your child will not get bored if they attend a rockets group!
School Years 7+: For the youth of the church who want to get real with God, Rooted is the Youth Service held in the upper hall during the adult church service. They have their own worship, teaching and ministry times, and is a refreshing way to learn about Jesus.
There is no need to register or book your children into any of the above groups, just turn up on a Sunday and your children will be in safe hands leaving you to enjoy the service. Don't worry about where to take your child as a leader will be on hand to help you find the right group.
